Ekvn Cate Hokte cvhocefkvt os. Konepvlke vm vliketvt os. Kialagee vm etvlwvt os.
My name is Tawna, I am from the skunk clan and kialagee tribal town. I am currently situated at Ekvn Yefolecv with my partner Marcus and our two children. Our vision of living as a full time mvskoke persons, in our mother tongue, is what occupies everything. Which also encompasses our passions to learning how to live in direct relation with the space we are in. It is because of this understanding that I am inspired to be a participant in unlearning what should not be carried forward into the next process of our journey and to remember how to live outside the boundaries of a world imagined by other people to co-imagine a world in which all living beings can thrive.
Tabreez Verjee
My name is Tabreez, and I’m ethnically Indian with a family from east Africa and a Persian name. I grew up first in Brazil and then moved around various cities in the Midwest before settling in the San Francisco Bay Area before college. I’ve always seen money as energy to create and serve a future where everyone can thrive and be fulfilled.
I co-founded Uprising with Andy and Saad to invest in amazing technology entrepreneurs who see their companies as vehicles to serve the whole. Some of the many real life superheroes we have had the pleasure to back include the folks at Lyft, Calm, Andela, ClassDojo, Long Term Stock Exchange (LTSE), Virta Health, Good Eggs, Landit, SV.Academy, Change.org, and Devoted Health. I was also a founding board member and early funder at Kiva.org.
I am most alive and feel the deepest joy and fulfillment when I am in courageous service to the most beautiful future my heart can see AND when I am in deeply loving, trusting, devoted relationships with others who are following their unique version of the same call from within. Jubilee Gift has been an incredibly profound wellspring of this vibrancy in my life and I am honored to share this space with all of you.
Woman Stands Shining / Pat McCabe
I am Pat McCabe, Woman Stands Shining, of the Dine Nation, adopted into the Lakota Spiritual way of Life. I live in the high desert of Northern New Mexico. In my rural, tri-cultural community, money has not been prioritized. Relationship has been a priority, water, future generations, sovereignty, wildlife, natural beauty, and family, have been the priorities. We are economically one of the poorest counties in the United States, and yet there is such a deep pride in our way of life.
I have been teaching and speaking worldwide to offer Indigenous perspective on a wide range of topics: Health, Education, Sustainability, Social Technology, Earth-and-Cosmos-Based Spirituality, Economics. I feel that my work is to propose that humanity can choose the paradigm it operates from. I know this is possible because I have had to become fluent in two very different ways of being a human on the planet, myself. I am excited to be in the deep study that Jubilee Gift proposes, preparing to receive a different future in regards to money, its use, and the way it can align with the Principles of Life as defined by Earth.
Srinija Srinivasan
I’m Srinija, and I come to Jubilee Gift deeply curious about the possibilities for expanding human consciousness towards a future conducive to thriving life on Earth. Born in India and raised in Kansas, my childhood was a bicultural mashup of East and West.
With a background in AI and a lifelong love of the arts, I became an accidental tech exec for over 15 years at Yahoo! while chairing the board of non-profit SFJAZZ, before co-founding Loove: a music venture to demonstrate how we can employ market capital and apply technology to serve human values, instead of employing human capital and applying technology to serve market values. I serve as a trustee of Stanford University pursuing knowledge in service to humanity, and as a board member of The On Being Project exploring: What does it mean to be human, how do we want to live, and who will we be to each other? I call both Palo Alto, CA and Brooklyn, NY home.
Orland Bishop
I am Orland Bishop and I currently live in Los Angeles, the Traditional Land of the Tongva People. I am committed to the arts and sciences of Sacred Hospitality and serve within a global network of initiatives dedicated to the renewal of the Covenant with Life. I am a Co-Founder and Executive Director of Shadetree Multicultural Foundation; a Los Angeles-based Civil Society Organization dedicated to creating agreements of the heart for societal development. Our aim is the development of consciousness and healing of cultures.
Shadetree hosts several destiny circles committed to health and healing, sustaining peace in urban conflicts, enhancing cultural rites of passage and initiatory knowledge, systemic and collaborative leadership development and creating frameworks for emerging economies. I have been deeply engaged with the development of conceptual frameworks for the future of money. Through Shadetree, I have mentored hundreds of Individuals and dozens of groups toward their life and destiny paths.
I serve as the Presiding Priest of the Aquarian Gospel Temple, founded in 1941 in the City of Los Angeles and supports independent Spiritual Science Research for individuals and groups seeking Initiation. The temple is the Soul and the knowledge leads to the Soul. I serve as host for the Initiatory Path. I’m committed to the hosting of futures through the deep shared understanding of Ecologies of Nature and the Ecologies of Consciousness.
I’m deeply inspired and love being a part of Jubilee Gift.
Michelle Be Long
I’m Michelle and I was born with a lot of joy. I also learned early about the deep wound of separation, and that opening to others, even when afraid or in pain, is the work of our lifetimes. I have co-founded and led four significant organizations, (World2Market, SustainableConnections.org, 17 years as founding executive director of BALLE / CommonFuture.co, and now Jubilee Gift). At each we built networks and communities of practice that supported emerging movements for change.
Each in its time was instrumental in supporting large numbers of people to align economic structures with our inter-being. It feels that the destiny paths coming together at Jubilee Gift have the potential to let the light in all the way. To serve as widely as we can, I am also a volunteer/advisor with The Pollination Project, UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center, and with Service Space. With these organizations and with the Othering & Belonging Institute, I/we also ripple out Circles of Money & Belonging inside companies and communities.
Marian Moore
Hi I’m Marian. To Jubilee Gift, I bring my deep longing for the awakening of consciousness to shift our relationship with Earth and each other. Hosting a new future for money is one part of that awakening to which I am devoted. It started for me in 1990 when I joined a community of seekers who had financial wealth and a desire to be in right relationship with it (thresholdfoundation.org).
Since then, I have acted as midwife/facilitator/co-creator to help birth new visions of how to be with money in service of regeneration, transforming power and deepening relationship. Play BIG, Lead with Land, RSF Integrated Capital Institute, Trust Web, Jubilee Justice and now Jubilee Gift are “places” I’ve gotten to play. I live in Minneapolis where I am active in movements for racial and climate justice. I am a music maker, journal writer, and soul collage facilitator. I love to love my children, my large extended family and beloved community.

My name is Marcus and my partner Tawna and I co-direct Ekvn-Yefolecv Maskoke ecovillage, an intentional ecovillage community of Indigenous Maskoke persons committed to linguistic, cultural and ecological sustainability. We have two children, Nokos-Afvnoke and Hemokke, with whom I enjoy speaking exclusively in the Maskoke language.
Laura Riccardi Lyvers
Hi, I am Laura and I am thrilled to be part of this Jubilee community. My life’s work has been in service to Earth and humanity within the world of biodynamic agriculture. With awareness of relationship between human, earth, nature and cosmos, all in spiritual evolution together, the “future becoming” is part of our highest human potential to engage with.
From this place and practice, I believe working with money in new ways can enliven what lives between us to bring into being the world that exists beyond our current form. I have lived and worked on farms and in gardens for the past 22 years, although I grew up on Long Island, NY, where I never saw a farm, or met much of a garden. On my husband’s family farm in rural Kentucky, I live in deep relationship with plants and animals and the cycles of the year.
